Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Welling and Pre-School is a privately owned nursery situated near the heart of Welling town centre at 73 Upper Wickham Lane, Welling, DA16 3AF.
Our location makes us well perfect for serving families in the London Borough of Bexley.
Monkey Puzzle Welling, alongside Monkey Puzzle Bexleyheath, is owned by mother and father of two, Jenny and Parv Choudhury and offers a home-from-home environment, where children are able to prosper and learn. We are part of an award-winning nursery group, offering high-quality childcare in our specially equipped nursery for children aged three months to five years old.
Adding to this, we tailor our care to suit your child’s age. We achieve this by placing children into the following age categories: babies aged 3 to 18months, tweenies aged 18 months to 2 1/2 years, mini-preschoolers ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years old. and lastly preschool aged 3 1/2 to school age.
Due to our learning spaces being equipped especially for our four age groups, we are able to provide that home-from-home feel.

🕷️🌈 At our nursery in Welling, our children have been getting creative with their magnificent spider web. They've been honing their gross motor skills and taking turns to throw balls into the spider web to see how they stick and how many they can throw. The children have been counting as they throw, and our early years educators have been encouraging them to look and say the colours. 🌈🕷️

🎨✨ At our nursery in Welling, our children have been exploring painting with different tools. They used various tools to discover the marks they could make and went on to create their own patterns and creations. Our early years educators even used materials like grass to help the children explore natural elements in our environment. 🚀🌌 At our nursery in Welling, our children have been on a cosmic adventure exploring outer space! They enjoyed getting messy with a mixture of materials to mimic the texture of the galaxy. Taking turns, they felt the materials and shared their experiences with each other. Our early years educators delved into the wonders of the solar system, exploring flash cards with different planets on them. 🦒🌊🏞️ At our nursery in Welling, our children have been diving deep into the world of animals and their habitats with a fun activity called "Land, Sand, or Sea." They kicked things off by identifying different animals, mimicking their sounds, and even imagining what noises some animals might make! One curious little one even asked Alexa what sound a giraffe makes, leading to lots of laughter and attempts to replicate it.
Next, the children explored where these animals call home - whether it's on land (like a forest or farm), in a sandy desert, or in the sea. A lively debate ensued about animals that can live on land but also swim, prompting a decision to place them in both categories. To wrap up this exciting adventure, some children took on a challenge to enhance their fine motor skills by using tools like wrenches, tweezers, and chisels from our toolkit to transport and balance toys as they placed them in the correct habitat.
