Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Welling and Pre-School is a privately owned nursery situated near the heart of Welling town centre at 73 Upper Wickham Lane, Welling, DA16 3AF.
Our location makes us well perfect for serving families in the London Borough of Bexley.
Monkey Puzzle Welling, alongside Monkey Puzzle Bexleyheath, is owned by mother and father of two, Jenny and Parv Choudhury and offers a home-from-home environment, where children are able to prosper and learn. We are part of an award-winning nursery group, offering high-quality childcare in our specially equipped nursery for children aged three months to five years old.
Adding to this, we tailor our care to suit your child’s age. We achieve this by placing children into the following age categories: babies aged 3 to 18months, tweenies aged 18 months to 2 1/2 years, mini-preschoolers ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years old. and lastly preschool aged 3 1/2 to school age.
Due to our learning spaces being equipped especially for our four age groups, we are able to provide that home-from-home feel.

At our nursery in Welling, we believe in providing our children with diverse and enriching learning experiences. Recently, our little ones have been exploring different currencies and the various types of foods around the world.
During a fun field trip to an American grocery store, the children had the opportunity to choose their own food items and think about what meals they could create using those ingredients. It was amazing to see their creativity and critical thinking skills at work as they planned out their meals.
To further enhance their learning, the children took turns playing the role of both the seller and the buyer. They used their impressive math skills to calculate prices, add up totals, and give back change to their peers. It was a fantastic hands-on experience that allowed the children to apply their knowledge in a real-world setting.
We are so proud of our children for their curiosity and eagerness to learn about different cultures and cuisines. It's moments like these that truly showcase the power of experiential learning. #education #CulturalExploration #mathskills #RealWorldLearning #nurserylife

🌿🐝 Our nursery in Welling is buzzing with excitement as our children embark on a global exploration of insects! From the garden to their habitats, our children are discovering the wonders of the insect world. They've even created their own bumble bees using various textures and materials, engaging their senses and creativity. Our educators are fostering learning through simple words like "bee," "paint," and "buzz," making this hands-on experience both educational and fun!

As I watched our children Ellie and Emily take on different roles at our nursery graduation today, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and nostalgia. It feels like just yesterday that Ellie was our little marketing manager and Emily was our toy consultant, and now they're growing up before my eyes. Ellie was our photographer today, and Emily was our party entertainer.
Having our family involved in our nursery has always been a special experience, and seeing our current and previous team members come together to celebrate our 2025 graduation just solidifies the sense of community we've built here.
Memories were made, and time will always remain special to me. Here's to many more graduations and milestones to come.
To our families and children, we remain grateful to know you, and we have a few surprises left that we will share in the coming weeks.
