Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Welling and Pre-School is a privately owned nursery situated near the heart of Welling town centre at 73 Upper Wickham Lane, Welling, DA16 3AF.
Our location makes us well perfect for serving families in the London Borough of Bexley.
Monkey Puzzle Welling, alongside Monkey Puzzle Bexleyheath, is owned by mother and father of two, Jenny and Parv Choudhury and offers a home-from-home environment, where children are able to prosper and learn. We are part of an award-winning nursery group, offering high-quality childcare in our specially equipped nursery for children aged three months to five years old.
Adding to this, we tailor our care to suit your child’s age. We achieve this by placing children into the following age categories: babies aged 3 to 18months, tweenies aged 18 months to 2 1/2 years, mini-preschoolers ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years old. and lastly preschool aged 3 1/2 to school age.
Due to our learning spaces being equipped especially for our four age groups, we are able to provide that home-from-home feel.

Our preschoolers at Monkey Puzzle Welling had a blast exploring Chromatic art today! 🎨🌈 They used a variety of colorful pens and then watched in amazement as the colors blended and mixed together when they submerged their art into water. The children had so much fun repeating the process and observing the different outcomes each time. I am beyond thrilled to announce that after a long and challenging 10-month process, we have successfully registered our charity! This journey has been filled with countless rejections and obstacles, but it all feels worth it to fulfill a promise I made to my dear mum before she passed.
Our charity is dedicated to helping children with disabilities, and we are so grateful for all the support we have received thus far. As we gear up to open our charity shop in September, we ask that you continue to donate any goods that we can sell to raise funds for these amazing children
All goods can be dropped off at our nurseries.

Our Tweenies at Monkey Puzzle Nursery in Welling are on an exciting adventure exploring Antarctica! 🐧❄️ They dove into a story time about the icy continent and used their senses to discover the amazing animals that call Antarctica home. Our little explorers confidently named the animals and let their imaginations run wild as they played and created stories with the resources in the tuff tray. What a wonderful day at Monkey Puzzle Welling! The Mini Preschool children had so much fun exploring precipitation today. Using different materials and tools, they created a cloud-like effect in the water and then used pipettes to gently squeeze colourful water into the clouds, observing the process of precipitation. They dove right in, using all their senses to gather ingredients, mix, and stir. From scooping water to tasting lemons and limes, they had a blast exploring and experimenting. And the best part? This morning at our nursery in Welling, the children in preschool have been learning about an artist called Andy Goldsworthy who uses natural resources as his medium. The children looked at some pictures of his artwork and couldn’t believe the shapes he had made using things they said they could find at the park.
The children started off by identifying all of the objects on the table such as leaves, berries, sticks, and flowers. They came up with their own ideas of whether they wanted to try threading with them, making a collage or using the items as paintbrushes.
Our pre-schoolers were so creative and unleashed their full potential, making an array of jewellery, 3D paintings and different styles of marks on their paintings.
