Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Welling and Pre-School is a privately owned nursery situated near the heart of Welling town centre at 73 Upper Wickham Lane, Welling, DA16 3AF.
Our location makes us well perfect for serving families in the London Borough of Bexley.
Monkey Puzzle Welling, alongside Monkey Puzzle Bexleyheath, is owned by mother and father of two, Jenny and Parv Choudhury and offers a home-from-home environment, where children are able to prosper and learn. We are part of an award-winning nursery group, offering high-quality childcare in our specially equipped nursery for children aged three months to five years old.
Adding to this, we tailor our care to suit your child’s age. We achieve this by placing children into the following age categories: babies aged 3 to 18months, tweenies aged 18 months to 2 1/2 years, mini-preschoolers ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years old. and lastly preschool aged 3 1/2 to school age.
Due to our learning spaces being equipped especially for our four age groups, we are able to provide that home-from-home feel.

Our little architects at our Nursery in Welling had a blast becoming builders for the day! 🏗️ They started off by learning about the role of an architect during circle time and then got creative making their own blueprints using pens, pencils, and crayons. 🖍️✏️
After creating their blueprints, the children put on their hard hats and got to work building houses following the steps on their plans. 🏡 The highlight was definitely the tornado test to see which house was the strongest! 🌪️ The laughter and excitement as the houses tumbled down was priceless, with the children eagerly discussing and comparing their creations. 🤣🏠

At our nursery in Welling, the children had a fantastic time going on a Bear hunt! 🐻 They put their lovely listening ears to good use, following the story and finding out what happens next. After the story ended, the children used small world people to act out the different sections of the story.
The children were so engaged and interactive, moving the small world people around and exploring the different materials with their hands - feeling wet, cold, and soft textures along the way. When they reached the cave, the children were quick to identify what was about to happen, showing how attentive they were to the story. 🌟 #StorytimeAdventures #engagedlearning

🎨✨ At our nursery in Welling, the children had a wonderful time participating in a colour mixing experiment today! 🌈🎨
They got creative with various materials and tools like paint, water, jugs, and pipettes. First, the children carefully poured water into cups with paint and then showed great teamwork by sharing and taking turns patiently. They then used the pipettes to mix the paint and water together.
After the mixing fun, they used their fine motor skills with a pincer or palmer grasp to fill the pipette and squirt the colourful mixtures onto whiteboards. The children then selected another colour, squirted it on the board, and tried to guess which new colour they would create by mixing the two together. 🎨🌟

🌈✂️ At our nursery in Welling, our children were hard at work developing their fine motor skills in a fun and creative way! They were tasked with threading cotton buds through sieve holes, a challenging and engaging activity that kept them focused and entertained. Our early years educators cleverly incorporated colours into the task, sparking conversations and encouraging speech development.
