Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Welling and Pre-School is a privately owned nursery situated near the heart of Welling town centre at 73 Upper Wickham Lane, Welling, DA16 3AF.
Our location makes us well perfect for serving families in the London Borough of Bexley.
Monkey Puzzle Welling, alongside Monkey Puzzle Bexleyheath, is owned by mother and father of two, Jenny and Parv Choudhury and offers a home-from-home environment, where children are able to prosper and learn. We are part of an award-winning nursery group, offering high-quality childcare in our specially equipped nursery for children aged three months to five years old.
Adding to this, we tailor our care to suit your child’s age. We achieve this by placing children into the following age categories: babies aged 3 to 18months, tweenies aged 18 months to 2 1/2 years, mini-preschoolers ages 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 years old. and lastly preschool aged 3 1/2 to school age.
Due to our learning spaces being equipped especially for our four age groups, we are able to provide that home-from-home feel.

At our nursery in Welling, the children had a fantastic time exploring mark making with a variety of tools such as cups, forks, and spoons. Our early years educators guided the children on how to use the tools to create patterns and the importance of sharing and taking turns. The children loved stamping and dabbing the tools in paint to make marks on their paper. We had a wonderful and educational day at our nursery in Welling! The children were fully engaged in an oral hygiene activity where they learned about the importance of maintaining clean teeth.
Our early years educators did an amazing job teaching the children proper brushing techniques and emphasising the significance of regular dental check-ups.
It was delightful to see the children using toothbrushes and timers to practice brushing for two minutes and investigating and cleaning model teeth.
They had a hands-on learning experience that not only improved their gross motor skills but also taught them the benefits of good oral hygiene.

🌟 Another day of learning and fun at our nursery in Welling! Today, our children delved into the world of first aid and the recovery position. 🚑
Our children were so engaged as they watched a demonstration on how to safely place someone in the recovery position. Our amazing early years educator was a fantastic model for them to follow. They then had the chance to practice on each other, learning the importance of keeping each other safe.
It's incredible to see our children gaining valuable skills and knowledge at such a young age. We are so proud of them and grateful for our dedicated educators who make learning so much fun! 🌈

Our early years educator guided the children in using different colours and materials, encouraging them to use their imaginations to bring their art to life.
Through this activity, the children were able to learn about different art techniques and explore their creativity. They used mirrors and photographs to study their own faces and used a variety of materials to create their fabulous artwork. This hands-on experience allowed them to develop their fine motor skills, enhance their understanding of colours, and express themselves through art.

At our nursery in Welling, the Tweenies had an amazing time creating their very own dragons! 🐉 They used their hand-eye coordination skills to stick a variety of materials onto their fantastic creations with glue sticks.
Our early years educators then brought the dragons to life by adding colourful feathers. The children were inspired by the book "Zog" and had a blast exploring all the different coloured dragons! 📚🌈 #DragonCrafts #CreativeKids #InspiredByBooks 🔥
